1. Appointment Bookings
- Please provide accurate contact and health information when booking
- Confirming a booking indicates your agreement to treatment under these Terms & Conditions
- We will contact you to confirm your appointment within 1 business day of your booking request
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment
- Late cancellations or non-attendance may be recorded and may affect future bookings
- Where applicable, a Medicare-funded session (e.g. under a Chronic Disease Management plan) may be claimed for a missed appointment to cover reserved clinical time
- We understand emergencies happen — please contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel
3. Late Arrivals
- Sessions may be shortened for late arrivals to avoid delays for other clients
- If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment
- Please call us if you are running late so we can plan accordingly
4. Payment Policy
- Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made
- We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express
- Medicare Bulk Billing is available for eligible patients with a valid GP referral — no out-of-pocket cost applies
- For NDIS, DVA, Workers Compensation, and CTP clients, billing is processed through your respective funding body
- Private health insurance rebates can be processed on-site where applicable
5. Health & Safety
- If you are unwell on the day of your appointment, please contact us to reschedule
- Please inform your physiotherapist of any changes to your health, medications, or medical history before each treatment
- Stride Care reserves the right to decline or modify treatment if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
We follow Australian privacy laws including the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. By attending Stride Care, you consent to us collecting, storing, and sharing relevant health information with your GP, specialists, or other healthcare providers involved in your care — for the purpose of treatment and rehabilitation only.
We will not share your information with third parties outside your care team without your consent, unless required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Informed Consent
By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you:
- Understand the nature and purpose of physiotherapy treatment
- Have had the opportunity to ask questions about your proposed treatment
- Acknowledge that while every effort is made to minimise risk, some treatments may cause temporary soreness or discomfort
- Understand that treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed and results vary between individuals
8. Limitation of Liability
Stride Care and its practitioners will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from treatment where reasonable professional care and skill has been applied. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Australian consumer protection law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the effective date noted above. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
